HACDO provide life- saving assistance to IDPs, returnees and host community and support shelter program and also work on PSN and referral mechanism.
- Humanity: Human suffering must be addressed whenever it is found. The purpose of humanitarian action is to protect life and health and ensure respect for human beings.
- Neutrality: Humanitarian actors must not take sides in hostilities or engage in controversies of a political, racial, religious or ideological nature.
- Impartiality: Humanitarian action must be carried out on the basis of need alone, giving priority to the most urgent cases of distress and making no distinctions on the basis of nationality, race, gender, religious belief, class or political opinions
- Operational Independence: Humanitarian action must be autonomous from the political, economic, military or other objectives that any actors may hold with regard to areas where humanitarian action is being implemented.
HACDO’s focus on Community Development & Humanitarian and Emergency response:
- HACDO distribute lifesaving assistance to IDPs, returnees and host community (most vulnerable HHs) and support shelter program (permanent and emergency). And HACDO work on PSN (person with special Need) referral mechanism
- HACDO provide response for emergency relief to displaced from natural disasters or man-made disaster
- HACDO Coordination with Government and other humanitarian organization/Agency
- HACDO assist in resettlement and reintegration programs for populations displaced by conflict or returnees and also HACDO provide DRR (Disaster Risk Reduction) trainings to people who are suffering by natural disasters. 1. Economic Development: Promoting entrepreneurship initiatives, microfinance programs, and skills training to improve income-generating opportunities within the community.
- 3. Infrastructure Development: Improving community infrastructure, such as roads, sanitation facilities, water supply systems, and housing to enhance quality of life.
- 5. Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment: Fostering initiatives that promote gender equality, women’s rights, and support for women’s participation in community leadership and decision-making.
- 7. Environmental Sustainability: Promoting consciousness around environmental issues and implementing projects focused on conservation, waste management, and sustainable practices.
- 10. Capacity Building and Training: Providing training for community leaders, local organizations, and residents to enhance their skills in management, project implementation, and advocacy.
